LEWITT MTP 740 CM: 1″ true condenser capsule in a handheld performance microphone
The MTP 740 CM provides highly professional, natural, and authentic sound. Its ultra-thin,
gold-layered 1″ diaphragm delivers first-class frequency response. A unique suspension
technology provides a high degree of shock-resistance and effectively reduces structureborne
True 1″ condenser capsule
The MTP 740 CM features a 1″true condenser capsule resulting in natural and authentic vocal
sound reproduction in studio quality. A cardioid polar pattern ensures effective rear sound
rejection live and in the studio.
Adapt to every situation
Low-cut filters eliminate unwanted low-frequency sounds, compensate the proximity effect
and reduce structure-borne noise
The outstanding rear rejection of -25 dB guarantees high gain before feedback Everything
below the LEWITT ring can be gripped by the artist’s hand without causing the FOH engineer
to lift even a single finger.
LED status indicators
Quick and accurate – even in total darkness it is easy to check your settings. Set your low-cut
filters and pre-attenuation using the recessed slide switches on the inside of the microphone.
The structure-in-structure architecture provides the basis for the MTP series’ ruggedness.
Wire-mesh cup and ring are made of spring steel while the body consists of durable zinc die
cast parts. The inner enclosure is made of resilient, but lightweight nylon reinforced ABS. This
design ensures the best possible protection for rough daily touring routines.
Lowest handling noise
LEWITTs internal dual shock mount system achieves the most effective handling noise
elimination. Refined rubber suspensions provide the best possible dampening of unwanted
structure-borne noise caused by hand-movement.
